Plums contain vitamins C, E, B1, B2, B6, beta carotene, potassium, pectin, organic acids, cellulose, protein and dietary fiber, which puts them in a food category of exceptional biological value.
Studies have shown a beneficial effect on health because of phytonutrients, especially neochlorogenic and chlorogenic acid. These substances are classified as phenols, which function as antioxidants and help fight free radicals in the body. Plum also affects the preservation of brain membranes and neurons. Zinc and copper, present in the fruit, act as antidepressants, and the vitamins C, B1 and B2 improve concentration. Since plum is rich in vitamin C, it helps in the preservation and strengthening of the immune system and prevents the build-up of bad cholesterol in blood vessel cells.

Organoleptic characteristics: hemisphere fruit are clean, longitudinally cut mechanically or manually, not deformed, relatively uniform in color and form, not overripe and of solid consistency.
